Caring for a disabled person requires practical skills, social skills, knowledge of local amenities and a suitable mindset.
A group setting is suitable to discuss and develop these skills and attitudes and share knowledge and experience of a role that we may all need to take, and a role from which we may benefit if others around us have the necessary skills and attitudes.
The group leader is a retired NHS general practitioner.
Meetings will take place at the group leader’s home in north Twickenham on alternate Monday afternoons at 2.30 pm.
