This group started in the Spring of 2025, aimed at Spanish learners with no previous knowledge of the language. We have now been running almost 1 year and are no longer complete beginners. On the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, we are currently approaching the top of level A1 (Beginner) and moving into the lower end of A2 (Elementary). We have not yet started studying at B1 (Intermediate) level.

For those already familiar with the "Pasos 1" text book, we are currently working with material from the second half of that book.

Our aim is to keep sessions fun and informal. To get the most out of each session, participants will need to do a small amount of self-study between meetings.

If you wish to join the waiting list, please provide a quick summary of your current knowledge/experience of Spanish. When places become available, they will be offered to those with the best fit in terms of language level, which may not be those who have been on the waiting list the longest.

Free parking is available in The Angler’s Car Park, paid parking in nearby St Mary’s sports fields car park (pay via Just Park app). Venue is close to 281, 285 and R68 bus routes, or 15-minute walk from Teddington railway station.
